Circular for NGC Schools, Punjab for Participation in

WWF-India’s Wild Wisdom Quiz 2017

Senior School Level (Grades 9 - 12)

Kind attention to all the Heads of NGC Schools, Punjab

SUBJECT:  Free Registrations for participation in WWF-India’s Wild Wisdom Quiz for Senior School Level

WWF is one of the world’s largest and most respected conservation organizations. WWF-India is a part of the global network spread across 100 countries.

Education has been an integral part of WWF-India’s global activities. Our vision is to inform, inspire and empower India’s children and youth to take action for a healthy planet. We recognize the role of students as major stakeholders and guardians of the future.

We would like to invite Punjab NGC Schools to join and participate in one of the WWF-India’s major educational and awareness programmes, the Wild Wisdom Quiz. It is India’s only and Asia’s biggest wildlife quiz, currently in its 10th year. To mark this momentous occasion, Mr. Siddhartha Basu, the pioneer of Indian quizzing, will be our national-level quizmaster.

The theme for Wild Wisdom 2017 is MAZE OF THE NATURAL WORLD. The quiz for the Senior School (Grade 9 -12) students will be conducted in an online mode. Participants can take the quiz in their schools, homes or cyber cafes.

Each student will register on website http://quiz.wwfindia.org/schoolstudents.aspx with their unique code which is assigned to them. The students should only be able to access the free registration form if they put the correct code.

The quiz will have the three levels. Students clearing the first round will be eligible for the next. Every registered student will get free access to our e-newsletter, the Wild Wisdom Nugget, which will be helpful for them for the preparation for the quiz and participation e-certificate.

We look forward to tremendous participation and a wonderful partnership in environment education. Together, we can bring nature and the environment into the mind-space of our future leaders and decision-makers.
