Awareness Rally on 4th June 2025

EIACP Hub Punjab in collaboration with Environment Society of India organized a rally on theme "Ending Plastic Pollution" at Sector 7 Market, Chandigarh. The rally aimed to raise awareness about harmful impacts of plastic and emphasized collective responsibility of community in reducing plastic waste and promoting a cleaner and greener environment. Shopkeepers were encouraged to adopt sustainable alternatives in their daily business practices. Participants including children, members of market association and local residents, actively took part in awareness drive. All were advised to switch to eco-friendly options such as jute or cloth bags for shopping and to consciously minimize the usage of plastic.
